December 29th
The Knifebear concerts are over and we couldn't have
asked for more. Thanks to all of the performers who
contributed their talents and all of the listeners who
came out to be a part of the experience.
We're compiling recordings from all of the shows for
release in early 2009, so keep an eye out.

Also, big ups to Twin Monster for making David Lindquist's
Top local recordings of 2008 list.

December 11th
Thanks to everyone who came out for the Knifebear opening
last Friday. We're getting geared up for the remaining shows
in the gallery on the 12th, 20th, and 27th.

Other fun stuff going on, we're throwing a blow-out
Dance Party on New Year's Eve at Sam's Saloon
with Twin Monster, Ace One, The Dirty Thirty, Dj Ripple, & The Dance Squad.
Come shake it into the new year!!

Also, work has begun on Nostradermis' solo album, currently
titled "Lift Your Voice, Sing Along". It's a great collection of
songs and should be out early next year.

The Proclamation (members of Coinslot along with Adam of Jenny is a boy)
recently released their self-titled debut album on

Thanks to everyone who made it to the Twin Monster CD release
show in Bloomington. We can't wait to do it again at The Emerson.
Also, ligyro.com is back online and Ligyro will be posting a new
track every week until the back log is exhausted.

March 22nd
Things have been pretty busy here at Pattern-Hungry lately.
Here are some highlights:
-Recording has begun for a songwriting collaboration between
myself and Paris Brewer along with other members of the
Pattern-Hungry family. The album is entitled "Alabaster, Quartz
and Crystalline Dreams" and will be released in the coming months.
-Coinslot's May tour is coming right along and rehearsal has begun
for a new EP that will hopefully be on tour with us.
-Epideral MC has begun work a full-length album, yet to be
titled. Check their artist page for a new track.
-Our friend Oliver is working on a cool picture gallery so we can
start posting pics from shows and events.

-Lorax is now performing with a live band, The Forest of Discontent.
They are finishing up an EP entitled "Hand Drawn Birthday Cards"
that will be available on April 5th at The Cinemat in Bloomington

Lots of exciting stuff going on here at Pattern-Hungry. Our newest artist
Twin Monster, is hard at work on their debut EP, yet to be titled. It features
a unique blend of hip-hop, electronic bliss, and dance-able breakdowns.
The album with be released on Saturday, April 5th at The Cinemat in
Bloomington, IN. More to come soon...

January 28th
Thanks to everyone who came out to Big Car Gallery
this past weekend to see me and Ligyro perform along side the photography
of Jessie Freund and Justin Cain as well as the artwork of Cory Salas
and myself. It was a great time and we hope to do it again soon.

I just wanted to thank everyone who came out to hear
Coinslot last night for Punk Rock Night at The Melody Inn. Thanks to
Tension Wire for playing with us, it was tons of fun!

January 15th
Here's some exciting stuff coming up soon: Coinslot is going to be
playing at The Melody Inn in Indianapolis this Saturday (19th) at
midnight, so if you're in Indy, come check them out. Also, coming
up on Friday, January 25th and Saturday, January 26th is a gallery
show at Big Car Gallery in Indianapolis featuring the photography
of Pattern-Hungry people Jessie Freund and Justin Cain.
I'll be performing my folk stuff and new Ligyro material at the shows
as well. Hope to see you there!

The new website is up! I'm really excited that Pattern-Hungry Records
is finally online. I'm working on the site every day, so it's under
construction, but is taking shape by the minute.
